Every day 30,000 children die of starvation! Yet 50% off all food produced is simply WASTED. The atrocities are too many to count and are becoming accepted as normal by western society.
The cause of this apparent collapse is controversial and will be discusses further ahead, however the main goal of this site is to provide practical advice on how YOU can help bring down capitalism! All the way from changing your mindset, to the small things you can apply on a daily basis, such as producing your own energy!
In a time where unemployment, debt, criminality and overall social instability are at historical highs, the change must come from each and every one of us. The only thing worth fighting for is a better tomorrow.
Money
In the western world one thing is common to us all, Money! We need it to buy food, water, clothing, housing, education and even health care. We all carry some in our wallets and we have it in our bank accounts. We use it every single day of our lives and yet we know so little about it!
How did it come to be?
How is it created?
Who regulates it?
The truth is that most people have no idea! That simply use it and assume it as a natural state of human organization.
Money constitutes the blood that makes our current social system go around. In order for the economy to keep going, money must circulate constantly and at increasingly faster speed. But one factor alone characterizes our monetary system and consequently our social system, and that is the fact that it is based on continuous growth. Well if we live on a planet with infinite resources this type of system can never be supported. So a collapse presents itself as inherently inevitable.

Capitalism
Capitalism is an economic system that became dominant in the Western world following the demise of feudalism. There is no consensus on the precise definition nor on how the term should be used as a historical category. There is general agreement that elements of capitalism include private ownership of the means of production, creation of goods or services for profit or income, competitive markets, voluntary exchange, and wage labor. The designation is applied to a variety of historical cases, varying in time, geography, politics and culture.
Karl Marx provided a differentia specifica for capitalism: People sell their labouring-power to a buyer, not to satisfy the personal needs of the buyer, but to augment the buyer’s capital.
What is important to highlight about capitalism is the fact that people sell their labor as a commodity in exchange for income which they then use to obtain products and services. One of the resulting problems of this system is the creation of technically obsolete or socially irrelevant jobs. The truth is that the majority of people do not enjoy their jobs, they simply get by because they need the money, no personal development, no self-expression or satisfaction!
However the most poisonous consequence of capitalism is the psycho-social ramifications it has on our value system. Society has us chasing a false set of dreams. Fuelled by materialism and ruthless consumption we compete for objects as if their were essential to our happiness.

…and replace it with…?
Instead of private ownership of the means of production, what would you suggest? Certainly not socialism/ communism?
Besides, are you complaining about capitalism or corporatism? Those two are very different things but are frequently mixed.
Greetings my friend. To keep the answer as short as I can: Why replace it with an “ism” of any kind??? With the level of technological advancement we now posses It is possible to create a society that eliminates scarcity of all kinds and offers a level of personal freedom like we have never seen before. I would suggest you take a look at the first film in the media page and if it makes sense to you find out all you can about that movement. Of course an adjustment of our value system would have to occur, but that enters the fields of psychology and sociology, that I am more than happy to discuss with you If you desire. To answer your other question, I am complaining about neither! I am complaining about the social system itself. It has become obsolete and its ramifications have become poisonous. To be bit more specific, the fact that we still use money is a reflexion of our social “retardation”. The monetary system corrupts all areas of society and promotes greed and ruthless competition, the fact that society is collapsing is no surprise, that is how it is designed. If you are not yet aware of how money is produced and regulated I suggest you take a look into this (again, take a look at the media page).
To conclude: our society is sick and can only begin to heal itself if a revolution occurs! A revolution of consciousness and consequent revolution in social design itself. Whatever the future reserves one thing is sure, the face of the Earth will change radically in the next 15 – 20 years and we are in it together. Peace to you 🙂
The “value systems” you mention are actually a result of the competitive monetary system, therefore, they will not change until the situation changes(the trap of Democracy). Only when a technological solution is found to make money obsolete, or a disaster, will society change.

Corporatism simply describe the behavior of corporations in a capitalist system. Any system which at it’s core, makes us compete against one another for our survival, sounds like a stupid idea to me and needs replacing as soon as possible.
Two issues:
1. Increase in population inevitably brings resources under pressure, the result is inflation.
2. Money to be transformed into capital needs to deployed in some productive channel; and like water, finds the path of least resistance – spaces and places where it can grow the most.
Allow me politely disagree.
1- The increase in population is something that can be addressed through education. This is not an opinion it is fact, if you analyse the number of children an average African family has and the ones a “western” family has you can clearly see the difference. So you needn’t worry of that, for in a society that promotes personal development and education for all, people would be responsible enough to have 1 or 2 children allowing for a “sustainable reproduction rate”. Besides, with our technological advancement we can provide for all the earth’s people time and time again. If treated well our planet offers almost endless resources.
2- I don’t quite understand the relevance of that statement. Trying to fix something that is inherently flawed is a waste of time and energy. The monetary system is based on debt and continuous growth rendering it invalid. I urge to look at money for what it is, a cultural product created by man, but now it no longer serves it’s purpose of facilitating access to goods and services, in fact it makes access to these things harder, enslaves us in a social prison, promotes self-centerdness, greed and ruthless competition. I can recommend the viewing of the videos in the media page to start off your journey of awakening. Make no mistake my friend, in the next 15 years the world will have either evolved into a moneyless society or we will be at the brink of extinction. It’s pure evolution. Peace to you.
